Dr. Matthew I. Lipp, originally from Long Island, N.Y, received his undergraduate degree at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.  He completed his medical education at New York Medical College, interning in General Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, in New Hyde Park, NY. He completed a three-year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lipp was a fellow in Interventional Spine and Orthopedic-Sports Rehabilitation at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY. 

 

Dr. Lipp is a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He has received his sub-specialty certification in Pain Management.

 

Dr. Lipp specializes in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation and non-operative treatment of neck and back disorders.  He has extensive training and experience in minimally invasive pain management techniques, including epidural steroid injections, facet blocks and intradiscal procedures.  Dr. Lipp’s specialized training allows him to provide non-operative care to patients that suffer with arthritis, tendonitis, and work or sport-related injuries. Dr. Lipp also performs electro-diagnostic studies, EMG, to help assist in diagnosing the complex cases.
